For being a #Monero person, I sure do listen to a lot of #Bitcoin podcast hours.
The common thread from the top four podcasts that I listen to, though, would have to be macroeconomics.
Two of them are Bitcoin and macroeconomics, one is strictly macroeconomics, and the other is gold, silver, and macroeconomics.

Is anyone thinking about ways to repurpose ColdCard hardware? I don't mean for security of Bitcoin. I think that ship has sailed, even if they aren't actually totally useless at that. So that aside, other uses.

People loosing coins due to lost passphrases may be the big story in 3-5yrs. Everybody will be pissed at anyone who said to use one back in 2026. 😂
20% of the nodes enforced BIP-110, 55% did not care but also did not like Core v30+ but all the rest of the 80% accepted the fork because it was soft fork.
There was no URSF, no one node was against it because, as we learnt, the miners are your master who in terms are controlled by the big government and blackrock.

Ahh, I always had a blind spot for the difficulty thing when it came to hard forks in the past.
I've never really looked into this, but does the difficulty reset somehow or have a starting value? Because I don't see why the difficulty threshold would change just because the algo did.
Admittedly, this is a bit of hind-sight on my part; but, for someone who actually chose to be invested in bip110, the potential to end up in this situation had to be foreseeable.
Frankly, if I were a bip110er - and I had been sold on the idea that this fork was an imminently existential emergency - I'd be more than a little miffed that the hard fork fall-back plan wasn't built right into the bip to begin with.
Anthropic is now embedding invisible watermarks into all text generated by Claude and attaching signed provenance metadata to all files it creates.
The watermarks are woven directly into the text, they persist through copy/paste and even some editing. For files like images and SVGs, Claude attaches C2PA metadata that signals the content was AI-generated and flags any tampering.
This is being done to comply with the EU AI Act's transparency requirements, but the implications go beyond Europe.
Every piece of text Claude produces now carries a hidden fingerprint that can be detected by anyone with the right tools.
We're entering an era where AI-generated content is marked at the source whether you want it to be or not.
